French Press Brewing Method
- Just before brewing, Ground coffee beans to coarse Grind.
- Rinse pot with hot water to preheat
- Put coffee ground into the French Press (2 Table spoons per 6 oz of water)
- Boil water and the water temperature at the time of contact with the coffee should be around 200°F (93.0°C) plus or minus 5°.
- Add half of the hot water into the press, and wait for 30 seconds
- After 30 sec. stir well; then add the rest of water and cover with the press-screen (don’t press down yet)
- Wait for 3-4 minutes, then press the screen down
- Serve and enjoy
- Avoid reheating coffee as it will dull the flavor. You can transfer the coffee to a thermos.
